Legal
Terms and Conditions
These terms apply when you pre-order, buy or use ReadReps Foundation Book One and its accompanying digital materials.
Effective and last updated: 2 August 2026
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected. If digital content is faulty, unavailable or not as described, you may have rights to repair, replacement, a price reduction or refund.
1. Who we are
ReadReps is a trading name of Snareobics Ltd (“ReadReps”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14755010. Our registered office is One, New Street, Wells, Somerset, United Kingdom, BA5 2LA. You can email us at robbie@readreps.app or visit ReadReps Support.
2. What you are buying
ReadReps Foundation Book One is a digital rhythm-reading product. It includes two PDF files of approximately 8 MB each: a screen-optimised ebook version and a printable version. It also includes 10 guided video lessons, 40 exercises including 10 coordination studies, links to 100 backing tracks, subdivision diagrams, practice tips and progress materials. No physical book is supplied.
Each PDF may be downloaded up to five times through Payhip. Please save secure personal backup copies after downloading. If a genuine technical failure uses a download attempt without delivering the file, contact us so we can investigate and, where appropriate, restore access.
You need an internet connection and compatible PDF-reading software to download the files. Once saved, the PDFs can be used offline. An internet connection and a current web browser are required for QR-linked videos and backing tracks.
Backing tracks are made available through services such as Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music. Availability, advertising, account requirements, features and territorial coverage are controlled by those services and may change. If a backing track advertised as part of your purchase becomes unavailable across the offered services, contact us and we will investigate and, where reasonably possible, provide replacement access or another appropriate remedy.
3. Price, tax and payment
Prices and the transaction currency are shown before you place the order. Checkout is provided by Payhip and payment is processed by its payment partners. Any applicable tax is calculated or displayed at checkout. We do not receive your full card details.
4. Placing an order
Please check your order and email address before paying. Your order is accepted when payment is successfully confirmed and Payhip displays the completion page or sends your receipt. We may refuse or cancel an order before access is supplied if payment is not authorised, the price is clearly erroneous, fraud is suspected or the product cannot be supplied. If we cancel after taking payment, we will refund the amount paid.
5. Pre-orders, delivery and access
For an order placed before release, payment is taken when the pre-order is made. ReadReps Foundation Book One is scheduled for digital release at 7:00 am British Summer Time on 6 August 2026. Payhip sends an email receipt and may provide an access-page link immediately; before release, that link is confirmation of the pre-order and does not mean the finished PDFs have been supplied.
On release, the two PDFs will be made available through the Payhip access page. We may also send an email update, but you should keep the original receipt and access link. Orders placed after release are normally supplied immediately following successful payment. Check spam or promotions folders if the receipt is missing and visit Support if you cannot access an order.
If release is materially delayed or we cannot supply the product, we will tell affected customers and offer an appropriate new date or a full refund. Keep your receipt and access link secure and tell us promptly if you believe they have been used without permission.
6. Individual, household and teacher licence
The licence belongs to the individual purchaser and is personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable. The purchaser may use the PDFs on their own devices, make reasonable personal backup copies and print the printable version for permitted use. The five-download allowance applies to downloads from Payhip, not to lawful backup copies made after download.
A parent or guardian purchaser may use the product with more than one child in the same household.
An individual teacher purchaser may display the PDFs during lessons they personally teach, including paid lessons, and may print individual worksheets as reasonably needed for students they personally teach. Students may use those physical worksheets for their own study but may not copy, scan, upload or redistribute them. This permission does not allow a teacher to provide either complete PDF, distribute a substantial part of the book, share the purchaser's access link, upload files to a shared drive or learning platform, or compile worksheets into a substitute for the book.
A school, studio, ensemble or other organisation may purchase a copy for one identified teacher, but one purchase may not be shared across several teachers. Each teacher who uses the product needs their own purchased copy unless we agree otherwise in writing.
You may publish a recording of your own performance of an exercise, provided it does not display readable copies of substantial book content or distribute a video, PDF or backing track as a standalone resource. Permission to reproduce a supplied backing track in a public or monetised recording is not granted unless we confirm that permission for the relevant track. Third-party platform rules also apply.
You must not resell, upload, publish, sublicense or distribute the complete product; share it with someone outside the permissions above; remove copyright notices; or use the content to create a competing product. If we reasonably believe unauthorised sharing has occurred, we will normally contact the purchaser, explain the concern and allow a response before deciding whether further action is appropriate. We do not remove statutory rights or ownership of a lawfully retained copy.
7. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel a pre-order for a full refund at any time before the finished digital content is supplied. Digital content has special cancellation rules after supply begins. If you expressly request supply during the 14-day cancellation period and acknowledge that your change-of-mind cancellation right will be lost when supply begins, that right ends when digital supply begins. If the required consent, acknowledgement or confirmation is not validly obtained, your legal cancellation rights remain.
Full details, including faulty-content rights and how to make a request, are in our Refund and Cancellation Policy. You can also use the model cancellation form.
8. Updates and availability
No future content updates are included unless we expressly say otherwise. We may nevertheless make reasonable corrections or technical improvements that do not materially reduce the product purchased.
You may keep a lawfully downloaded PDF and use it for the duration of your licence. This is different from a promise of permanent Payhip re-downloads or indefinite online hosting. Online features and third-party links may change for technical, legal or service reasons. If an advertised video, track or other important companion feature becomes unavailable, contact us. We will investigate and, where reasonably possible and legally permitted, restore it, provide a reasonable alternative or offer another remedy required by law.
9. Intellectual property
ReadReps materials, branding, text, notation, video, graphics, music and recordings are owned by or licensed to Snareobics Ltd and/or Robert Wills, with certain contributions created by credited collaborators. They are protected by intellectual-property law. Buying the product gives you only the limited licence in section 6; ownership does not transfer to you.
10. Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, business loss arising from consumer use, or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, although we remain responsible for remedies the law requires.
The product is educational material designed to support rhythm reading through regular, focused practice. Results vary with experience, practice quality and consistency. We do not guarantee a particular rate of improvement, performance, examination or professional outcome.
11. Personal information
We use personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Payhip and payment providers also process information under their own notices.
12. Changes to these terms
The terms shown when you order form part of your contract. We may update these terms for future purchases or where reasonably necessary for legal, security or technical reasons. A change will not remove rights already earned under an existing order.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you also retain any mandatory protection given by the law of your country. Courts in England and Wales have jurisdiction, but consumers living in Scotland, Northern Ireland or another eligible country may also bring proceedings in their local courts where the law permits.
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly.
